who we are: Motea was founded by a Taiwanese native who brought his passion for bubble milk tea to northwest Indiana after moving to the United States in 2003. He aimed to introduce the local community to this delightful beverage from Taiwan.

The name "Motea" incorporates "Mo," which means "magic" in mandarin, reflecting our brand’s enchanting and exciting nature.

We are dedicated to using only high-quality tea leaves and selected ingredients directly sourced from Taiwan. We rigorously test our tea leaves each season and regularly check all ingredients to ensure consistency and top-notch quality. Believing that the best tea comes from the best ingredients, we are committed to delivering the finest bubble milk tea experience to our customers.
